About The Event
Rajasthan's Largest Student Community Hackathon
LNMHacks invites designers, programmers, and inventors to code, build and design innovative solutions to tackle the real-world problems. It provides a venue and platform for creativity and self-expression through technology. It doesn't matter if someone is writing the code for their 1st website or 100th. One can always work and improve a lot. The only constraint here is time.
LNMHacks 4.0 will be a 24-hour hackathon with a wide range of tracks such a Edtech, Fintech, Blockchain, IoT, Machine Learning, Computer Vision. Some of the tracks mentioned above will have dedicated problem statements and prizes.
The participants will be required to create a working application or a hardware prototype product to showcase their solution to the problem they are trying to solve.

Do I need to pay any money to register for the Hackathon?
Admission to LNMHacks is completely free, thanks to our sponsors! We'll provide you with a weekend's worth of schwag, meals, drinks, snacks and a place to crash when you need a break from coding.
How big can a team be?
You can form teams of up to 4 people. Most teams aim to have a mix of people with both design and developer skills.
What if I’ve never been to a hackathon before?
Then we're so glad LNMHacks will be your first ever! It’s helpful to have some programming or technical experience, but it’s not a requirement. We’ll have talks, mentors and workshops to help you with your project.
Are there prizes for the girls’ team?
LNMHacks has always been a huge supporter of gender equality and empowerment. We've treasured swag and prizes exclusively for girls to promote and encourage their participation. Gotta grab em' all girls!
Can I start working on my hack before the event?
No. In the interest of fairness, students should not be working on their projects before LNMHacks begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand!
How Does Judging works?
A panel of some of the biggest names in tech will evaluate hacks based on creativity, technical difficulty, design, and usefulness. The top 10 overall projects will demo what they have built-in front of all of the LNMHacks during our closing ceremonies. New judges will be announced on a rolling basis on Twitter and Facebook, so make sure to follow us!
Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the Hackathon?
If you love to code, you are more than welcome to participate in the Hackathon. Though we may screen applications to maintain high standards.
Is it necessary to be present at the venue to participate in the hackathon?
Yes. The event is entirely on-site. Only the registrations and submissions are to be made online. We have also planned a plethora of other activities to keep you engaged.
Who will own the IP (Intellectual Property) Rights to the product that I have built?
The developer/developers of the web/mobile application will have all rights and own the IP of the product. However, all code needs to be in public domain (open source) so that it can be evaluated by the judges.
Is there any travel reimbursement?
Yes, we are providing travel reimbursement on case to case basis. Hope you hack well.
Don't find my question listed here. What can I do?
You can always contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be more than happy to help you.
